This is the story of Climbing Kilimanjaro

Climbing Kilimanjaro was formed upon the following motto: Focus on safety, be flexible, treat everyone fairly, and have fun!

Climbing Kilimanjaro was created out of decades of hands-on experience on Mt. Kilimanjaro. The founder, Justin Mtui, started this company  after working on the mountain as a porter and guide for more than 10 years.

After gaining ample experience as a mountain guide and witnessing the injustices porters and guides faced, Justin decided to create his own tour company that focused on customer and staff satisfaction. Over the years, Justin has watched his company grow and gain the attention of many travelers.

The quality of equipment and food has a big impact on your comfort, and enjoyment of your climb. If you can’t sleep because you’ve got an old tent that leaks and the food you’ve eaten is sub-standard and unappetizing, this will compromise your chances of summit success and also put your health at risk.

Days on the trail can be tough, and part of your recovery is being able to relax and be comfortable in camp. Camping needn’t be a hardship, but it starts by investing in the right equipment and gear. Our team will always go the extra mile to make your journey unforgettable. From the first moment you contact us, until it’s time to say goodbye, you will have exceptional customer care, high-end equipment, top of the line vehicles and unique surprises like our signature hot lunches in the wild (instead of lunch boxes).

At Climbing Kilimanjaro, we believe that the mountain crew makes the climb an unforgettable experience. We have dedicated all of our efforts into building a team that we can proudly say are the best.

Our crew is extremely professional and experienced, but at the same time cheerful, talkative, funny and
flexible. Come and join us for this lifetime adventure!
